Wargrave 10k
Lovely race through the countryside of Wargrave. I wasn't feeling on top form as unsurprisingly too much beer and pizza for dinner the night before a race isn't optimal nutrition. Last night's sleep was also terrible thanks to being anxious about missing the alarm (I'm also working today) and thanks to our very inconsiderate neighbour blaring music at 2am and then again at 4am.
That said, I still managed to push myself just under 39mins according to my watch. The course was also a little more hilly than I was expecting. There was the big hill between 3k and 4k and the lots of little hills dotted around for the rest of the route.
Very well organised and friendly race. Will definitely do this one again.
