Liversedge Half Marathon. I really enjoyed today and am pleased with how it went 😊. I started very conservatively as I wasn’t confidence about the distance and walked two steep short hills in the first half, and tried to keep hr under 160ish. Second half I ran everything as I wasn’t as worried. Even managed to run the whole of Mad Murder Mile. Time was 1.17 which was quicker than my 2024 and 2022 runs, but obvs not the ones before that, though it was a new route and I think a bit easier. Had sandwiches after and stretched when I got home. What I’m most pleased with though is how I felt after. I haven’t seized up at all, and nothing is hurting (except bunion). I had my mate with me too and we were just buzzing, it was a good day. Overall 234/265 F 65/85 F55 6/9
