That's a brilliant result for a 10k, Ebb, and a well-earned PB. You finished with a nice turn of speed too. My days of going under the hour for a 10k are long since gone!!

I was aiming for under an hour but struggled in the first mile or so to get into a rhythm as the course was very congested (I think I started too far back and there were nearly 3,000 runners).
When I got to 6k in around 33:30 I realised I was near PB pace so kept pushing and was really pleased with my time - I did feel sick with effort in the last mile though!
Knowing that you're near the end helps you to keep giving for the satisfaction ahead, but sometimes it takes a lot of determination to push through the pain to the end.
