Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.
The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thought I'd press lap at every 5k, Ha that was a laugh. I stopped the watch 3 or 4 times instead of lap. Also missed 15k and hit 30k twice because the first time was wrong. Totally missed 35k so hit 36 and 42.? for the finish.
Every time we went inland it was headwind and felt uphill too.

A little curious about this one, I wonder if it’s the same route still, and if you thought it was a bit hilly?
Hi Bowman, mostly it's along the seafront but does head inland towards the back end of the marathon and to somebody that lives in the fens any slight incline is a hill. It definitely isn't hilly and is a lovely marathon. I'd love to do it again but I'm not allowed time off in December now.
Ok, thanks Ff, my SO was very interested to go when I mentioned this race :), and I thought about it as a last marathon this year. Maybe I’ll give it a go. Cheers!
It was about 17/18° around midday in the middle of the town. Cooler on the coast and the wind came off the land when I did it. This is my marathon PB.
Sounds ok, a bit scared it will be to warm. But maybe not then. And it starts early i. The day too. And I think there are pacers too, so even if it’s not super big there will be backs to follow.
Well maybe.. I’ll try to forget the last one before I make up my mind.
I've just remembered I've had an email and prices go up tonight.
