RING OF STEEL AUDAX. Pretty horrible ride circumnavigating Sheffield. The first part was probably the nicest, but it was horrendously windy and horrendously hilly, so I was either scared or struggling and forgot to enjoy myself. After that, it was just a lot of awful busy roads, and still more relentless hills and also rain. I feel bad that I didn't enjoy it, as the organisers seemed so lovely and proud of their event.
