Oscar's Everyone Day
Sunday 23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

My first marathon!!!! Good start, but miles 17-20 were really tough, 10-18 had been hills, although not large they were tough in the heat. By then also the mid-day heat had come out and there was absolutely no breeze - roasted! Times:
10km 1hr 2min 46sec
Half 2hrs 15mins 26 sec
30km (18.64mi) 3hrs 15mins 12sec
Marathon - 4hrs 42mins 01sec
Had the works Sensorwear on so will add more detail later!
Really pleased with the result, especially due to the heat on the day, looking forward to the next one now (I have just booked The new Forest marathon!!)
