Notes & Comments

Clydebank 10k
Started well enough with 5.32 and 5.35 miles, but got stuck too far back at the start and may have pushed too hard in the later part of the first mile to make target. Let it slip with a 5.41 which was ok because it included the twisty bits and the hill. Through 5k in 17.27 then seemed to bottle it with a 10mile/hm paced next 3 in 5.50 5.51 6.05 and finally the extra bit in 5.35 pace. Second 5k in 18.23. Warm and muggy but heat doesn't usually bother me just needed to dig in more in the 4th mile and I'd have been fine. Didn't like the new path surface too slippy.
