Tried to do a faster 5k after Weds disappointing run. Started nearer the front and thought I’d try to run as consistently as I could but it was still so congested in the first mile. Felt like I was working hard though so a little disappointed to see first mile wasn’t anywhere near 8.30 pace.

I guess overall I should be fairly pleased. Total time was 10secs slower than Weds but overall average pace was very slightly faster due to no chip time therefore 0.05 miles longer too.
