Ran to heartrate (which had been elevated all week). Tried to keep it below threshold for as long as possible, then tried to keep the splits even.
Ended up a bit slower than I had hoped for (prior to the heartrate problems had hoped for 8-8.15 miles) , but given the circumstances, 8.45 is best I could hope for
