Thought the ankle might be the one to watch, but instead ended up pulling something in the back of my right thigh at about 4.5 km. Soldiered on to the finish, but was definitely slowed down a bit by it, otherwise I reckon I would have been nearer 21 minutes. Positives are I achieved the average pace I was aiming for, and my breathing was the best it’s been running fast over this distance.
