But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.

Cheshire 10K race: Bad start - good finish & a new PB
Disastrous start to the morning - and I ended up on the start-line just 2 mins before the off ... not warmed up at all.
Starting near the back of the 1000-strong field, the first mile was splashing through mud and puddles just to get past. But at the end of it, my time wasn't too bad - just 10 secs below target time. Took a lot out of me though.
By mile 4 I felt I was hitting a wall - particularly when the runner I'd been using as a pacer suddenly stopped.
It got better though and I had a really strong finish - passing 4 runners in the last 50 yards ... and finishing in an official 42:24 - just inside my target and a new PB by 39 secs.
It hurt though - I can't be this badly prepared again.
