Wakefield Marathon - had a rough stab at sub 3 but it became apparent fairly early on I wasn't getting enough cushion in to get me through the second lap and the route around Nostell Priory grounds meant I got to halfway just outside 1.30, after 18 miles felt like I was struggling so adapted pace to 7.30-7.45ish just to give me a pace I could maintain. Overall pretty happy but it would have been nice to get a PB and maybe even the london qualifying time of sub 3.05. I can come out of this pretty confident that on a flat course on a good day I've got every chance of going under 3 hours one day.
