Coulson Schoolboy error at the end, realising I had to do an 'extra' lap of Gypsies Green Stadium & spending it fighting off everyone i'd blazed past on the 'finish straight'. Lucky with the weather & a pb!

Deejay Amazing how they timed the race to miss the snow! After I'd hammered down the road to reach the stadium it was a bit of a killer to find out there was a circuit of the track to do. Almost had to walk it! Certain I managed a PB though.

Grey Badger Decided to enter at the last minute as my son was doing it. Didn't expect much after doing a gruelling 26 mile fell race at Allendale yesterday. Snow showers before and after but not too bad for race. Legs were tired but got caught by Steve White(Elswick Harriers) with 2 miles to go and he basically kicked my ass all the way to the finish and wouln't let me give up so a special thanks to him. Finished about 19th.

makem 1 what asmashing race , quite a flat race , so a canny quick coarse, think i will be doing this one again after smashing my pb by 2 minutes
