Loon Dod Excellent race 6497 feet of climbing 5149 feet of descent ran through some snow but temp was perfect well sorted race lots of drink stations nice prizes etc great company one of the highlights was fellow fetchie AS coming home first lady and winning a cake big enough to feed half of Bled. All in all a cracking weekend away cant wait till the next trip. I had thought before race that 6 hours was possible and did the first 20 miles in 4 hours but then hit the final 400 meter climb whch was a killer then a very difficult descent which i was crap at friend Nick and I parted on the descent and I lost 10 place and 20 mins on him so must sort out my descents as I had the sterngth just not the skill or perhaps just not brave enough.

Runna A brilliant event. The scenery is stunning, it was just fantastic running in such beautiful surroundings. It is a tough event, this year the course had been changed and there was an extra 400 metres of ascent & decent, there was also lots of mud to slow you down. We were very well looked after with water and food stations about every 3k and fantastic support. Brilliant value for money at only 20 euros, which includes a long sleeve technical top. There is also a 35k or 10k. Had a great weekend in Slovenia with friends, brilliant to meet Loon Dod.
