Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Left Foot Update: 7th Lady to finish. First woman over 40! Suffered for the uphills as don't usually include so many in my training and usually avoid hilly races. I am sure I did 10 min miles on some of them! Shame I couldn't crack 1:40 this time, but got quite close to my PB (which was on a dead flat, quiet course) so quite pleased for hanging in there. Quite a challenging course, I think, if I placed that highly in the women's field. Hard work but I had an enjoyable day. VERY nice medal and spot prize, too!

Roobarb Don't think I am going to better my pb done on this course a couple of years ago - having problems with my right foot. If I can equal my time of 2:15, I will be happy.
****UPDATE**** Well, my foot hurt me from start to finish so I am pleased to have done this in the time I did. This race is a favourite of mine so I will be back next year to better myself! Well marshalled and great that they didn't have to alter the course after all.

Wabo would love to go under 2 on this course, never have! Will do better than 2.40 I am sure.....
Ok, thanks for all the bets guys! I did get you some points. I did not run like the wind much, I don't think I really enjoyed it, the toothache is still around, I didn't get sub 4 here but so so close!
However on the positve, I did get a course pb, and in spite of having a terrible night's sleep, because of everyone who had bet on me here, I just got up and did it!!
As hubby said to me 'if you get round this today, you can do anything' well I don't know about that....

Just updated correct time as I checked results!
