About this parkrun

Great event with short sharp climb in first mile, run on woodland tracks and paths. Prone to puddles and mud, a real cross-country feel and probably about two minutes slower than a "quick" course. Excellent NT coffee venue on site.

Lovely Scenic NT location @ Parke House- TQ139QJ. Challenging route across the estate & long uphill start. Reward great coffee @ finish. Then, mooch around nearby Bovey Tracey.

Very big hill on first lap. Cross-country/technical feel, especially in winter. Two laps but feels like a one lap course as they are different. Very scenic and uses old railway line on second lap. Nice cafe, loos and parking (free if NT member).

Flattened figure of 8 course,on trails.A couple of hills but largely flat. I did it in July when it was very dry so road shoes were fine. Probably worth wearing trail shoes in the winter. NT car park. Free for members. Cafe and toilets. Nice outing.
