Phil-F Absolutely fantastic race, unfortunately got caught up in the crowds during thew first 3 -4 k managed a faster second 5k but still not enough to get under 50 minutes. I guess I struggled having run a 10k during the afternoon before as well. To those that did bid sorry.

TooLilac great race - felt shockingly bad with painful left calf, after about 8weeks of little/erratic running. Shinsplints held off, buy calf was sore before the race started. Very slow for 1st 4km, due to lots and lots of walkers, so I really must have made up the time on all the lovely hills to scrape in at 1hr 1 min. I think it's a PB !!

Yorkshire Pie I'm not sure about this one. I've had a couple of rubbish runs since Edinburgh so I might just turn up to enjoy the event rather than killing myself aiming for a PB.
