Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Vicksta Really enjoyed the run, perfect running weather, and the course wasn't quite as hilly as I remembered from 3 years ago. Still challenging though! I actually beat my PB by 2 secs...however, the course was short by my Garmin, and wouldn't get a certificate as so much of it was off road, so it doesn't count. Really enjoyed having my first pimms of the year and a hot dog at the finish, this race has such a friendly family feel, its a real gem! I was 4th lady, just couldn't reel in the 3rd lady who was about 10 secs ahead.

automatic shoes Totally surprised myself by this run - especially as, when warming up, my legs felt quite leaden. But went quite fast(for me) from the first downhill, got to half-way in just under 26 minutes and more or less kept it going at the same rate. Course PB by over 2.5 minutes. I think I may finally be getting my racing mojo back. Even the long uphill at 6k didn't seem as tough as I'd remembered it. But this is a good event, the village gave good vocal support, with plenty going on for those not taking part - and I'll remember the scrummy lemon curd cake for a long time !
