The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Best time for over two years. Got caught out by the finish, could have gone faster. Kept to pace well except in middle, but manged to hang onto a few people wh oseem to run the same times as me. Did not see any other Fetch vests/shirts. Of to drink beer to celebrate.

ctsw2001 I had decided 3 weeks ago I wasn't going to do this run, and then had a strange notion to run it on Saturday afternoon. So wasn't at all prepared for it and felt pretty crap on the morning, not helped trying to get the family out of the door for 8am and trying to find a parking space in town all before 9am. Anyway as for the race I found it OK up until the 5.5 km mark when I stopped to walk up a hill at Maxwell street. Started again at the top and got to the end albeit I got caught out by the extended finishing straight. Not my best time but considering the circumstances and conditions I'm pleased I just managed to get through it.
