Son of a Pronator Man An ambitious prediction ? Time will tell. A lot depends on the weather this week as rain will make the course wet and muddy. I have a lot more endurance than last year, but do I have more speed for the shorter distances ? Update 09/03 - well it has p***ed down on Thursday and Friday, the route will be a bog, especially on the way back after everyones feet have churned it up.. UPdate after the race: Glad to get a PB on this route in these conditions

SueW That's the plan but the weather forecast is for very windy weather on Sunday. I plan to run up to Gartmorn (about 14 miles) and then pick up the pace to marathon pace. I've never tried running then 'racing' so it may all go horribly wrong! Update - I managed it! Ran up at an average of 9:06 and then averaged 8:42 during the race.
