Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oscar's Everyone Day

Sunday 22nd June 2025
In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March 2024, so now we dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

cake muncher Placed 8th overall. Started off ok but took a tumble around 5.5 miles. Spent the next couple of miles recovering what I had lost. Ran strongly over the last 3 miles but just not enough to catch ChrisU.

mags Ran with JO all the way. Lovely run pleased with time as we didn't particularly train for it- 1 8mile run and 1 10 mile in past few week so not bad! Jo got a pb and I improved my time from last year by 4 minutes.

PentlandPounder running as part of my Caley challenge prep. Lucky with weather - an enjoyable run, but had to hold back twice between miles 9 and 11 as unclear route at junctions - and on taking my map out, it turned out to be an entry form for the Perth HeaveN & Hell - what a pratt - cost me about 2 mins so not my best time, but course easier that i expected - didnt compare to the usual Sunday morning Pentland runs!

ChrisU Missed my 1:22 target by 6 seconds. Probably ran the first 2 miles a bit too hard, and then found it tough keeping the pace after that. Finished 7th in the end, after being 3rd or 4th at 6 miles.

Son of a Pronator Man I hope the water is shallower than last year - and warmer too .+UPDATE+ Less water but more mud made for a slippy outing along the tracks and fields. 49s faster than last year, so progress has been made :)

HappyG(rrr) Hey, how's that for a prediction?! Great event, just treated it as a training run and hence got to chat to some lovely folk on the way round and finished just behind Tigger (well done on the time and on the ladies' team prize). Good soup and sarnies after, great atmosphere. Highly recommended. :-)G
