Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

*Anj* Well that was interesting. Quite 'hilly' in the first mile which slowed me down. Tried to keep it steady after that and then picked up the pace in the final mile. Just under 2 mins outside my 2006 5 Mile PB which was on flat road. :) Very happy.

Forest Runner My hamstrings were so sore during the day that I ran the course slowly before the race in an attempt to loosen them up. It didn't really work and my legs were hurting all the way around. When it came to the downhill section I was slowing down while all around me were speeding past. Normally I manage to go much faster on that section. I was very disappointed with my time in this race.

GAZGIB For the first time in ages my calf muscle was fine despite the undulation and uneven surface. For some reason my breathing went at 3M so I had to take quick, shallow breaths which must have slowed me down. But the last mile is a glorius down hill sprint.

Heavyweight Watch time. Nice friendly race although a bit crowded at the start. Finished strongly downhill but could not quite catch clubmate Steve.i

Konaboy Felt pretty comfortable throughout. So should have run harder but not confident after lack of recent training & the yateley10K result 2 weeks previously. Only 13secs over last year's time so fairly happy.
