Greenman After running a fast half time the night before this was never going to be one of my quickest but I was pleased to get under 40 mins. Dull and overcast, nothing like the usual sunny day for this race.

Marts recovery run after marathon last week. great race well organised and biggest 10k in peterborough area. RACE DAY. Ok so I didn't use as recovery run but ran fastish steady run instead. Good race. Great Cakes and online results within the hour at www.eye10k.co.uk

No.8 ™ Blew it at the start again with going off too fast and was caught out by an off road section that was hard going. First mile in 5:39, then pulled it back in line, but lost it off road with a 6:15. Minor point I think the official time was 8 seconds out, started on the line and crossed the finish at 37:48, but at the end of the day a miss is as good as a mile. Finished 29th place overall.
