Oscar's Everyone Day

In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

Gobi I have seen the course and it is flat. Taper week so beyond the 10km I have just done I am very rested. This is basically my last hard run so who knows. First and last KMS avg pace showed my strength 3.18 - 3.17. Bad wind between for KM 2 and a chunk of 3 slowed me somewhat but I finished well. HR did not go as high as it can which also showed I didn't get up to speed in 2 and 3 and also the fact I raced yesterday. Sub 17 is now very close. Rach E This is a nice course so if I get a pb anywhere it will be here. UPDATE Nice course, yes, but the wind in the second km killed me. 3:32 first km, then a 3:46 DOWNHILL second km. I worked so hard into the wind that I had nothing left for the last three kms. I am pleased to have been able to work hard though and not wobble afterwards. Snapstinget A good run :) Went thru 3k in 14:44 absolutely stymied by the wind from 1k onwards: the second k is very downhill yet I SLOWED DOWN!!!! I couldn't believe it. Got to the corner at 2.5k believing that the wind would leave me in peace but IT DIDN'T!!!! The great thing is that I ran the last 2k (from when the wind dropped and then slightly uphill from 3.7 to 4.7k) in 9:21, which is pretty neat when you think about it. So all in all quite pleased.
