Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

felixs Last run coming back from a long spell of injury so should hopefully be faster this time.

Thankyou Banbury Harriers for another well run race.
Nightmare of a race for me today, not fun.
Well done to Sophie for a fantastic run.

MarkC A good race for me today, but I have a bit more in me than this, I think. Set out to get home in under 2 hrs (after last year's 2:03) and felt good from the off. Suffered with stomach cramps at a few stages of the race, the first of which was at 4 miles. Managed to run them off with the aid of, er, a few hearty trombone solo's. Either my porridge disagreed with me this morning, or (more likely) last night's hefty chinese meal. Effects of looming cold were minimal though, happily. Felt strong for the first 8 miles and got to the top of most of the hills well. Stomach cramps returned at 10 miles and took longer to get rid of this time. The nasty hill at 11 miles slowed me somewhat but I was able to push harder for home after that. Got into a sprint for the line with another runner, who turned out to be DannyFox. Nice one :) Feet were in a bit of state at the end with four emerging blisters. I think I got my fueling strategy and my shoelace tying wrong today, but I'm still pleased with the result. Great turnout from my club today, it was good to see everybody.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) Training run for Edinburgh marathon

Good run, hills were very challenging but TBH I didn't mind them at all :) Jigs as usual was waiting for me near the finish and ran alongside me for the last 400 yards :):)

SparkyMark Comfortable run as I wanted to take it at marathon pace, though took it a bit too easy in first part. Good strong finish and felt fresh
