johnnywoo77 Love going to this when I can manage away from work. Great test of where my training is at. Park for free just along from people’s palace, and jog the half mile to start. £2 entry goes to charity and you get a number and pins provided. Can’t say fairer than that. First km is slightly downhill with the wind usually at your back. Turn just after 1.5k and then run uphill into the wind. Last few hundred is tough but that’s a sign you’re trying! Today was just over 12 mins, around 20 secs slower than PB but I’m getting to the peak of high mileage weeks for HM in just over 3 weeks so reasonably happy with that. Also was running late so warm up from car was minimal and too fast!
