I felt the references to the Vastra/Jenny marriage were there for people who were new to the series. Or had a short memory. Sort of an update so we're all clear what's going on.

No, we never saw that happen. When Clara calls the Tardis, she talks about the woman in the shop giving her the number and saying it was for the best helpline in the universe. It was something I expected to see resolved in The Name of the Doctor, but it wasn't.
I did wonder that about Missy, too, sheri. That's probably exactly what Moffat wants us to think.

Yeah it seems a bit obvious. Could be a double bluff!

The Master thinking of the Doctor as his/her boyfriend does seem highly plausible though ;) The homoerotic subtext has been practically text at times!

sheri, I thought exactly that too! I think before Delgado died, they were planning to reveal they were two halves of the same personality somehow, ending with the Master sacrificing himself to save the Doctor.
I suppose she could be another incarnation of River Song, but I don't see where she could be squeezed in.

WS too harsh!

Thoroughly enjoyed the 160 min extravaganza at my local flics - even though I will say Clara as a human being has absolutely no personality, looked like a fish out of water at the live Q & A session after the film. One word answers and always looking to the others for 'help' As a stand-a-lone episode, 5/10 tops, the dino in London special effects were awful, BUT it was always going to be an introduction of Peter and think he will grow into a great DW. Steam Punk is awesome, the man who does the special effects on this and many other shows, films lives down the road in the Forest of Dean and his imagaination and creations are stunning - how's this for a laptop pccadvantage.files.wordpress.com
