A 'nine racket' back takes three, a 'twelve racket bag' takes four. You *can fit, in my case, six in a six bag, but the specific racket compartment takes two. The big space where the other four would have to go is clearly better suited to kit, towels and stuff. Don't misunderstand - my bag is a fine thing if you carry a pair of rackets plus assorted sweathsirts, towels and whatnot. It's just a bit useless for six rackets. Also - I see no reason why anyone at modest club level would ever need to carry more than, say, three rackets anyway.

You just wander into the clubhouse and get some balls (new for matches, one-use-only for club nights, couple of uses ones for coaching). Old balls presumably are given to the local poor for food and bedding. [Glenn and Dougal really need to take me aside and knock this out of me - I feel dirty just typing it].
