Decent sounding time of 54:48 belies a sub par ride; legs were dull and I was around 12-15w off target and lower power than my other 2 25's this year. Dug in to ride at around 93%, which felt hard. Tried focussing on position and efficiency so pleased to extract a decent time. Re 70.3 I'd imagine they are content with Weymouth, Staffs, Edinburgh - good coverage of the country. Holkham a little Wimbers-esque in that there's no large towns nearby, so while a race of 500 odd works nicely I'd imagine that the 2300 Athlete behemoths that IM like would pose some challenges.
