For everyone other than possibly Nike, it's not enough to match Nike or be 0.x% better. If the difference isn't much then there's no reason to change for anyone. If they make a step change like Nike did, then they could catapult someone that behind the favourites into the favourites group.

BG - the foam is creased from new so I doubt that’s from wear. I think you’d see something elsewhere on the sole if they’d been worn.

WW, thanks. I had an online chat with them and they confirmed the shoes are new, and that they always send out new pairs. I wonder what they do with the returned pairs?

Lots of Adidas sponsored runners in the Valencia half with the new yellow/lime adiós Pro very prominent. Joseph Cheptegei there as well with Nike's of some sort

Kandie, the adidas athlete, has just smashed the Half Marathon WR. I thought he'd blown it about 2k out but he had a massive kick in the end.
