A local firm donates mince pies to a Boxing Day Fun Run but had loads left over. They were in date until April 2018 so they offered to bring them along. Someone must have made an error with the decimal point when calculating how many to order . Many people (not me) went away with boxes of 4 dozen I did not even have one - because as we all know, mince pies are for Advent and the 12 Days of Christmas and not some random Saturday in January
