Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi all, sorry to have been somewhat elusive so far... Ashby 20 tomorrow is my big test, have been injured and supplementing a lot of my training with cross training. Hour-for-hour, I have trained just as hard as marathon training the last few weeks and if anything taken fewer rest days, but how it will translate to the speed endurance I need to run a good marathon who knows.

Will report back tomorrow afternoon/evening :)

Hi all, thanks for the lucks! Ashby went ok and I should be on the London startline. Ran it progressively as planned but my lack of training miles came back to bite me late on, so the late splits weren't as progressive as I'd have liked. And today I have DOMS akin to the day after a marathon! Hey ho. I will decide on my London time plans in the next couple of weeks, unsure if I should run easy-ish and aim for GFA renewal or if I can try a bit harder towards a 3:30.

Hi clare1976, I'm aiming for sub 4 around the 3.50 mark but that really will depend on the 'traffic'. Well done at Ashby.
