Welcome all Team 1 runners and supporters - come in, take your trainers off and make yourselves at home. Anyone for a virtual cup of tea?

Thanks whiteflash - it WAS cold - but it went OK, 2.38.53, just under 10 min miles, AND my first ever negative split. Left hip sore now, so I"m really grateful for the tea, Schnecke, you make a nice virtual cuppa!! Hope everyone's well, on this chilly afternoon...

Coffee for me please Schnecke. Black, 1 sugar. Ta muchly. BrianJ - I bet it didn't look like I'd managed to break myself sufficiently to miss nearly 3 weeks of training!

Hi to CC2, I hope you recover soon and are a runner rather than supporter.
Good running StorksRock - hope the hip eases.
Also to Barky with a (no doubt) cold 18 miler.
I have my usual post hard run headache. Guess they must be dehydration related (not alcohol as gone dry until VLM).

Well done on the long runs, folks - all miles in the bank, which you will hopefully cash in on marathon day! Speedy Goth - I hope you will be a runner on the day, but you will be equally welcomed as a supporter

Can I remind all runners that there is no budget for supplies at Fetchpoint - anything you pick up there is provided by the generosity of the supporters and/or whatever you have arranged to be brought to Fetchpoint.
So while we may have jelly babies and other sweets, oranges, jaffa cakes in abundance, and possibly a few gels, bananas and other bits and pieces, if you have any other specific requests such as beer, g&t, a specific flavour and make of gel that can only be bought in one shop at the arse end of nowhere please can you provide these yourself and arrange for them to get to Fetchpoint.
This could be with friends/family that are coming along, or otherwise you can leave them at the Runners World stand at expo - put the item(s) in a bag with your (Fetch) name on it, and make sure they know it's for Fetch not for RW, as RW have their own support point, and I'll pick up from Expo around 4pm on the Saturday.
Sorry for the long post, hope that all makes sense!

Thats so cool of them, and shows the power of Fetch. Not Lord Fetch, he is just a on T3. I know the power of Fecthpoint, seen it at Edin a few years ago - its one of the best tings to see round a course.
