Wine Legs
Given that there's a thread for parents of teens and a thread for aged parents (of which I have neither), I thought I'd start a thread for what I do have.
Currently Pip & Squeak are ~2.25. Opinionated, demanding, prone to tantrums. They can talk pretty well. Squeak has more language than Pip, but can't sound out an H or do TH properly...it's very funny to watch/listen to her try and copy us. Pip's diction is better, but sentences are shorter etc.
Squeak used to bite people, until I told her it really hurt, asked her if I could bite her, she said yes, and was VERY shocked and upset at the result. Now she knows biting people is both naughty and painful and doesn't do it any more! Result! We might need to try the same tactic with pinching next...
Pip mostly just wants to wear his sister's clothes, which are invariably too small (as he's a good 3kg heavier, and probably 2-3cm taller). He does wear pink cardigans and, given the opportunity, a dress. He yells a lot in the night, for no apparent reason, but it does wake everyone up. He likes to play with the exact thing his sister just chose. Even if there's two of them that are identical, he still has to have the one she's got. It's annoying.
So...toddler challenges, share them here

Good idea. You've reminded me that T7 has developed quite a lot

I have no toddlers or pre-schoolers but am going to watch this thread on the grounds that a) I had one once and b) I expect it to have some wonderful and fun moments

Morning all
I have a 3 year old little girl who thinks she's in charge, and is certainly a force of nature.
She knows her mind and won't be swayed or bribed easily.
She's going to be an awesome young lady one day, but i wish i could tone it down a little for a few years

Ha! I have one of them too... just a bit younger. And a little boy who isn't much different, but is unfailingly polite with it.
Does anyone know anywhere that sells reasonably priced BRIGHTLY coloured or patterned t-shirts that can be worn by small children of either gender. The more garish, the better, as far as Pip goes. Preferabby with flowers or butterflies or animals or stuff, but NO WORDS, and no commercial characters. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. (I'm sure I'm not fussy, but maybe I am!!)

Plain bright colours: Fruits of the Loom T's on Amazon. Supermarket ones often have stripes.

I've been eyeing up the FotL tshirts, but both kids need to grow first. Pip is a size 2-3 and Squeak is still wearing stuff that fits a 1 yo! FotL starts at 3-4 - but the colours are good!!
Sainsbury's has been massively frustrating for t-shirts. Loads of bright colours for 'girls' so long as you like frills, ruffles, gathers, crops, ties, or strange shapes (wide bottoms, and cropped sleeves seem popular options). The standard t-shirt shaped clothing, aimed at boys is in depressingly durgy colours. Or has crap slogans.

Hmm I'll ask Mrs Lammo about the t shirts
My six year old son is as calm and laid back as you like
They are so worryingly similar to me and Mrs L, frightening
