Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

every chance that there will be a running event of some sort next year - was off this year as distillery had other commitments - an anniversary and a whisky festival so felt that they couldn't fully commit to another big event. They have been great over the last couple of years and support was what meant that the old Moray Marathon didn't bite the dust completely

that's good news :) It was 5 years tomorrow that I ran my first marathon at the Moray marathon so will always have a soft spot for it, even though it's a different event now!

It was one of the few Scottish marathons that I hadn't done and was keen to do it one year, so would be good if it resurfaces. :-) G

Moray was my PB mara. I did it the 30th anniversary year (2011) and I wear the yellow cotton t shirt as a jammie top :-)

Anyone done or doing Stirling 10k? Will be my first ever run without headphones as they are against the rules. Not sure how I feel about that. Poor people running next to me will just have to put up with my signing on the way round!

And Ally I did Vogrie a few weeks ago. It was pouring cats and dogs and I nearly slipped a few times when turning corners. Nice course if you like trails although feels hillier than it should for some reason.

Stirling is usually the Scottish Championship, really fast field. Road closed for the first k from the Peak, fairly flat.

I'm doing Stirling this year for the first time - looking forward to a flat fast course, and plenty speedy people to drag me around.

Princesszee - signing or singing ? ;-)
