I think you are officially meant to be using the centre but ... ;-). Just walk in past the desk, so many coming and going no-one is checking - actually if you asked if you could I would be extremely surprised if they said no. You can also wander onto the synthetic track as well and do a few laps as well, gates open, no-one around.

(Last year at Linwood, after changing I ended up at 'spoons in Paisley* for breakfast (after looking at the Linwood café menu and comparing what I'd get for my money) then cycled to Kilbirnie and back along the old railway. Parkrun tourism tourism. I was buckled by the end, mind.) *as will over 1000 runners tomorrow.
