Though to be honest if we run it in 2012 probably won't be a double, more likely just a single... mainly just logistical with the medals etc You have to get a minimum of 100 of them done, so next year likely to single with an entry limit equal to how many medals we have left. May not be the same route either, I'd like there to be toilets available and it looks as if they are closed at a random date in November and re-opened at a random date in March. If you have that route in the warmer weather then there will probably be too many people around for it to be safe... aside from that the route is pretty handy as people's Garmins were all around the 26.22 - 26.29 range. Not saying I wasn't concentrating on what I was doing but on the first day I turned on my Garmin halfway round the first loop and the second day I don't appear to have ever started it, luckily it wasn't me timekeeping! lol

Traviss Dec 2011 4:29pm, 12 Dec 2011 447 posts	Quote Pin Traviss Actually I did have an "emergency" route planned that would taken those toilets into the route... it's not ideal though as there are several narrow bits of the promenade that get fairly busy on a nice day, shame as otherwise it would be a nice mostly paved route. Did you mean by the pier TZ? I can't recall any by the castle (you meant Deal Castle right?) (Deal has 3! Sandown, Deal and Walmer...) Though as the TZ flys I suspect the distance between those two was covered in about 20 seconds!
