Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I suppose if you’re going to get caught cheating you might as well get caught cheating at everything.

Is there any more to it than "empty beer bottle blown by wind in direction of coaching staff" and "crowd boos opposition" ?

I spend a good portion of every Sunday on a rugby field and part of that is encouraging parents to cheer good play and not yell at the children / coaches / referees when they make a mistake.

I feel that "respect the X" (kicker, referee, opposition) is something that elevates rugby above other sports and don't want to see it marginalised.

The thing for me is that these differences need to be guarded to keep rugby 'elevated.'
I've seen an increase in chat, the 'waving of cards' and there have even been accusations of 'simulation' over the past couple of years -- and I don't think this is the right way to go

Too much misuse of media by coaches and players. Too many armchair pundits and keyboard warriors on social media. Too many folks that want to blow things out of proportion to satisfy a personal agenda.
