Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

RIP Sir Nicholas Parsons

Love just a minute, I listen to it most days.. You can get a 24/7 stream here (a playlist file that you can open with most media players, I use VLC) ...

The broadcaster who, for me, brought a bygone age right up to date. Over fifty years presenting 'Just A Minute'. Consummate professional.

He always seemed to be a real gentleman. How lucky he was to keep his marbles right to the end, and for the end apparently to have been reasonably swift. RIP.

Sale of the Century had such a simple format and was wonderfully held together with Mr Parsons at the helm. Great viewing for our family when I was very young. He will be greatly missed.

Genuinely sad news, I was introduced to JAM in 1993 by an amazing English teacher, so unbelievably I’ve listened to it for over half it’s existence?

I’ve had a very busy day and saw the news some time ago but haven’t had a chance to digest it until now. A genuinely funny chap who always played the stooge to let the other talent shine. As the minute waltz fades away
