Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ankle was boggy but the swelling has now gone down. PF is allowing me to be on my feet for about 3 hours in the day at the mo'. It does hurt a wee bit but in a much smaller space. I'm getting needling pains in the bit where the plantar joins the heel. Put different shoes on this morning and forgot to swap orthortics over, so the foot's a bit sore this evening. Stretching and massaging and will start rolling again tomorrow.

Poor RS, you're really struggling with it. Hope doc can give you some insight.

Mine's grumbling again. I took the pedi roller and spiky ball to gym with me last night and did some rolling on it last night before and after body pump. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it at bay. :-) G

RS, these things do go on don't they, so annoying.
Slow progress here - lots of jumping and hopping on one leg, and I'm up to 10 x 90 seconds running with 50s walk intervals. I travelled 3 miles! Foot noticeable but not getting worse. I'm much more confident about my golfer's elbow recovery!

Having used it for a few months now I can report that the under foot roller from the people who make The Stick seems to be very good indeed. (it might just be the same as any other purposely designed roller but it is better than the golf ball/relay baton/coke can approaches - the ridges really allow deep massage of the tight bits in the foot. )

Y'know how PF just suddenly gets better with no warning. Well, I asked the doc to refer me to a podiatrist, so she did. It's really eased off and I even ran to the gym twice (mile there and back). However, there's enough there to work with as it still gives me gyp from time to time and I expect the foot and/or leg needs strengthening and stabilising.
