Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Dvorak, I loved it in there earlier! It was over 21 degrees, warmer than in the house, and the seat is very comfy! I also have a recliner though, so all is good :) Once I have power in there, I can even put the kettle on :)

Dvorak, one of our former cats spent sunny afternoons of the the later years of his life stretched out asleep on the greenhouse staging, right up to the glass, where the thermometer sometimes showed it being 40C+, too hot for plants. He'd made himself a nest of horticultural fleece.

I am under yeat another layer of snow, about 4 inches :( I have tomatoes, aubergines and peppers germinating in the window sil but not put anything else in yet, because the new greenhouse isn't heated and I had removed the extension lead and heater from the solar shed. It is too cold in there and I have no window sil left :(

Fragile Do Not Bend
Some white violets have randomly popped up in the lawn. We already had the usual purple ones but first time I’ve ever seen white ones. I’m going to dig some up and move them to a border before they get mown.

We managed to get the school polytunnel weeded today. It's all ready for planting stuff now. We just achieved the RHS level 3 school garden award, which means we have loads of seeds and fruit canes heading our way over the next year. We just have to make sure we have somewhere to put it all.
