Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Lighter - only a bit lighter - than nike pegasus

I'm finding my pegasus 30s a bit clumpy. I've used previous versions without a problem but these just don't feel right. Does anyone know which nike shoe (cushioned/neutral) has the next level down in cushioning, and is therefore a bit lighter.

I've tried to research this on the nike website and on various online running shoe retailers, but it isn't clear to me.

Cheers

Nike Zoom Elite 6 is the lighter neutral shoe. I've got the 5 and done over 450 miles in them. Initially bought as a marathon shoe, but use it for general training now.

Lots of other decent lightweight trainers from other companies as well

Vomero, I'd guess. Always seemed slightly lighter in store to me than Pegasus (I never ran in Pegasus, but had 2-3 pairs of Vomero a few years back).

:-o

Ah well, maybe they only *seemed* lighter. They were certainly nice, anyway.

Think I remember reading that the Peg 31 was a bit lighter than the 30, so you may may not have been imagining it Paul

Don't discount the Pegasus - the new model 31 has had quite a few changes from the 30 I believe, so may be worth a try on.

Beware the Vomero is for high arch.

I'm a Pegasus 30 fan. Need a new pair, I'm undecided over Pegasus 31 or Free 5.0 because I like the way the Terra Keiger feels and fits, and apparently the TK was based on the 5.0 ?
