ive been running for 7 years now but my weekly milage is low .Im injury prone so have only ever ran 3 times a week.I would like to run 4 times a week but worry I will get injured .How many days a week do people on hear run? I always follow runners world smart coach training programs which always says run a 2 mile on a Tuesday but I feel 2 miles is hardly worth it?

Because I'm probably certifiable, I run 7 days a week and my Streak is heading for three years in duration. I'd never recommend it.

4 session, 1 long run, 1 x recover, 1 x club night, 1 x intervals or hills. It's just the right amount for me and fits in with life

With family commitments, I find that I can do a weekend long run early in the morning and an occasional recovery run or speed session in midweek. Not the best, but it fits in with all the other demands I have.

Completely random. Sometimes 1 or 2, sometimes 7.
Am very inconsistent.
Don't listen to me. Wibble.

In an ideal world, it would be a long run (that's 8+ miles for me) on a Sunday, club training on Tuesday and club run on Wednesday followed by parkrun on Saturday.
I can't remember the last time I achieved that

Do what works for you and your personal circumstances. If time or injury only allows 3 runs ,then go with that...if you can do more then got for. The more you do though, the more you need to vary pace

Whatever i can. Sometimes 6, but often less. Of the six, some are very very gentle.
