Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

If I cropped that picture it would look like a side of pork! Now where is CT so I can get this over with and take the picture off the gallery!

Gluteus medius tendon strain
Not serious just a pain
Too much pelvis droop as you run
Fix - Core strengtheners, lower yourself as you run so you land with a bent knee and shorten your stride and mileage for a few days
Massage in antiinflam creams or take ibuprofen
You may or may not beleive this but it is worth a go - Very hot bath with 200 ml of apple cider vinegar in it can help some people

Hope this helps - Remove the pic but you could have posted it in your lycra or other clothing

Thanks CT, but how long til it stops hurting and goes back to normal? 8+ weeks and counting at the moment. Next to no running for the last 2 months, none for the last 2 weeks and then 2 miles of walk run last night left it hurting again so I don't want to try running ever again.

Any particular core exercises? I can do sit ups and plank and side planks and that's about it.
