Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've thought that several times this week Doogs. I'd started to wonder if I was just making it up until you said the same.

In response to OP, this morning's race did go ahead, but with advise to wear a peaked cap and carry water. Though we were finished before the heat really came out to be honest.

Another race on Wednesday which hopefully is after the heat wave.

In other (but related news), eldest has got a four-day outdoor pursuits Year 7 trip in central Lancs tomorrow. She's not worried about the heat (half-Israeli) but bricking it that either the school or facility will cancel at the last minute...

KCAC cancelled Tuesday night training

About This Thread

Maintained by rf_fozzy
We're debating over whether it's right to have our usual club run on tues due to the extreme temperatures forecast.

Or to at least mitigate to a woodland route or perhaps go later.

Because obviously we have a duty of care to the runners who attend.

Interested to hear what other clubs are doing please
