Nelly May 2014 4:14pm, 6 May 2014 1,712 posts	0 Nelly Both London and Paris marathons have already got a 2015 race thread, so here's one for everybody to discuss the Greater Manchester Marathon. We had a great thread for the 2014 race, and some wonderful performances on race day; is anybody thinking of coming back/joining me in Manchester in April '15? As it finishes outside Old Trafford football ground the race date can't be agreed until the football fixtures are released in June(ish). But entries are already open already, with a £3 discount to account for the date uncertainty. There are also half/half relay and 4 leg relay for anybody not up for the full distance.

First week of April was perfect - 18 week plan, starting beginning of December, wind, ice, snow, freezing cold, bring it on !!!
K5 Gus May 2014 5:02pm, 6 May 2014 683 posts	0 K5 Gus Not done VLM< got GFA, but don't fancy it - further to travel, expensive hotels, getting the crowded tube on the day, route far too busy to run own pace and line, etc, etc GMM was easy t o get to, cheap hotel, car 10 mins from start/finish, not too crowded, but still an atmosphere.
