Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have 3 hours and 20 minutes.

My offer to deliver a job to a client in Derby, making it impractical for me to come back to the office, has fallen on deaf ears.

I'm going to begin my commute home at 5. Although I didn't leave until 5:30 last night. I expect tonight will actually go on a bit longer too.

I have virtual drinks with some new colleagues at 4.30. I'm pretty much done for the day other than that so might have a sit on the sofa for a while until then.

My days are bleeding into my evenings now that I'm in my workplace all the time (not that they didn't do that quite a bit before). Must. Turn. Off.

On the one hand I want to finish at 4pm as I’ve done 9-10 hours every other day this week. On the other hand, I think that’s actually only the time I’ve been logged on, what with having to restart the Surface Pro several times a day, and given that everything takes so much longer to do now, so I’ve probably got far fewer productive hours in than I would in the office, so should probably work on until 5:30/6pm again.
