Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fair points, Paul. I think City have been praised to the sky a couple of seasons back - and rightly so. Just now, they are a shadow of that side and you'd have to ask why, which is a reasonable question for any journo.

I raised the question above about Arteta because he has been in charge for a year and I think his record is W13 D8 L13 and yet he personally seems to get a fair degree of latitude, compared to say OGS, but certainly if his name had been Unai Emery, he'd have been gone already? (Or anyone else without a similar bank of 'Premier League' behind them)

Arteta has to go, that is an appalling record that an FA cup win can't cover for.

Perhaps I read and listen more intently?

Or just an idiot?

Love how some people always resort to insults.

You alright festive? You are ever so sensitive. The whole world isn't out for you. The whole world isn't out for City.

It doesn't matter what the papers write, you aren't winning the league this season.

I just looked back for some insults, I didn’t find any. All journalism in the popular press is trash designed to provoke, it is not studied analysis. TV punditry is much the same, rentagob for a lively debate. And don’t even mention Talkshit and the like. It’s best to ignore it or seek out better sources.

City have got every chance of winning the league, they are far more likely to put a run together than United and despite yesterday Liverpool are still susceptible to another few days like the Villa result. At 1-1 the other night Spurs were running through them at will.

United are in a false position, whilst we can be devastating going forward we could have had a few more 1-6 this season if the likes of West Brom, West Ham, Southampton etc had taken their chances when they were dominating us. We are still where I expected and last years third place was a false position based on Leicester falling to bits after the restart. I said at the start of last season I expect two years of total inconsistency before he really starts to make an impact with the team, sadly if we finished 6-8th this year most fans will want him out. That unfortunately comes of supporting a team with a billion Twitter followers who go into meltdown every time we don’t win or don’t spend £300m in a transfer window.

I predict 2-1 to Leeds today.

Talksport employs Alan Brazil, an utter thick, drunken shithouse of a man. That in itself should be enough to turn the dial.

At the end of the day, it's all subjective bar the names on the trophies at the end of the season.

And Cheg, I'll be more than happy with promotion, I think Pompey will win the league.

Yes, Brazil is utterly repellent in every way.

Was just going nuts that the red had totally missed the most obvious penalty decision for us. Break in play and VAR did it’s job and brought him back and awarded it.

I don’t think VAR is a bad system but it’s being run by our refs who are pretty woeful.

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
