We are not in the correct area of Yorkshire that we *should* have been in this weekend..... šŸ™šŸ™šŸ˜¢

However, three OYKs have just flown overhead and Iā€™ve remembered to bring my binoculars this time.

Good Barn Owl spot Roberto.
Couple of Stonechats this morning.. hadn't run this route for a couple of years and suspect they had bred there.

Stonechat seem to be doing well here and a local birder had evidence of whinchat breeding by ā€˜hisā€™ reservoir recently

Sadly I found a dead juvenile blackbird in the garden today. I suspect it had flown into the garage window.

Just had a Great Spotted Woodpecker on my peanut feeder. Never seen them in an urban setting before. Wish Iā€™d got a photo.
