Shrug. Public figure, just as legitimate for people to comment on his behaviour as it is for you to comment on other posters. And we (including you) are just expressing reasonable opinions, not doing something which could permanently harm or careers.

I had heard of him. He was claiming to be 3rd brit as the brit who had just overtaken him was slovakian (I think). When you read the story you realise he is just an idiot.
Its a short career and you need to make the most of it while you can. He doesnt appear to grasp that.
the best line was that he sees tennis as an interruption to his way of life
While TMW is right, it doesnt impoact us, but it doesnt exactly set a very good example.

Sorry if I am late to this thread but the question wasn't "Has he harmed anyone else?"
But as a completely tangential aside, given the nature of the drug business the answer to this is "quite possibly" by being part of the demand for this stupid habit.
Oh and anyone who follows British sport at all (even as low-level such as being a regular listener of Radio 5) would have known who Dan Evans is unless they have exceptionally poor attention skills or memory.

If he didn't come clean when he took the test, he's a cheat, just like Sharapova.
For taking cocaine, he's an idiot, as he knew he could be jeopardising his career.
In addition, I think he probably wasn't being subtle about it, so someone he'd racked off saw and tipped off the testers.
I suspect doing a Sharapova and having a press conference is his way of trying to minimise the damage to his reputation. Unfortunately for him, he's not famous enough to get away with it. Doubly unfortunate is that even if he could make it as a coach (which I doubt because of general lack of work ethic), no-one would now touch him with a barge pole.
